Infrared Heating Technology
Benefits of UFO infrared heaters
-
Safe, healthy infrared heating technology
-
Energy-efficient since nearly all consumed energy is converted into heat
-
Provides heat immediately on any surface the light touches
-
Budget-friendly, with little to no maintenance costs
-
Produces heat that is not affected by wind or air and only goes where you want it
-
Made to last with stainless steel, corrosion resistant aluminum, and fortified plastic
-
Heat can be easily redirected by turning or rotating the heater
-
Creates odorless heat that does not dry out the air or consume oxygen
-
Operates silently without fans or motors➢ Excellent coverage in hard-to heat or high heat loss areas
Advantages of UFO Infrared Heaters Compared to Ordinary Heaters
Convective heaters work by warming up the air, which then slowly moves the heat from one place to another. In order for us to feel it, they need to heat all the air in a given space.
With these systems, most of the heat goes to the ceiling since hot air rises. As it begins to fill the room, it may also escape through poorly insulated areas such as door and window frames, causing you to lose even more money. In addition, it will not warm your walls, floors or furniture, leaving them feeling cool or cold to the touch.
UFO infrared heaters, which utilize radiant heat, are quite different from classical heating systems. UFO infrared heaters warm our bodies just like the sun warms our world, meaning they use photons made of light to directly heat your body, clothes, furniture, and other objects in the room. No energy is wasted by slowly heating the air or slipping through unknown cracks, and you don’t have to waste energy by sending warm air into rooms that don’t need it. Compared to classical heating systems, UFO infrared heaters transfer heat up to 80% more efficiently. Depending on many factors, such as the size of the room, degree of insulation, or season, the efficiency rate may rise even higher..
Dependable Heat Where You Need It
UFO heaters’ technology allows them to be set-up, mounted, or carried depending on the model you choose. However your heater is installed, whether indoors or outdoors, It will provide you with the possibility to easily redirect and control the direction of the heat and efficiently use a UFO heater in your living room, bedroom, kitchen, library, or study, or use any of the outdoor-approved models of UFO infrared heaters efficiently in places such as your patio, porch, terrace, garage, workshop, and others areas.
The tables below contain information regarding the heating areas and mounting distances for indoor and outdoor use of UFO heaters. These are given as minimum and maximum ranges.
The tests above were performed in 46 sq. ft. with good, normal and poor insulation. The data above shows the temperatures of the globe thermometer 6.5 ft. away from a convection heater and a UFO infrared heater of the same power. The images above show how, the poorer the insulation, the higher the efficiency of a UFO infrared heater.
Indoor & Outdoor Heating Distances
The tables below provide information regarding the wattage, distance, and approximate temperature you’ll feel when you use wall-, ceiling- or stand-mounted heater. Depending on the surrounding temperature and wind speed, your perceived temperature may vary slightly.
Outdoor Use of UFO Heaters
The efficiency of liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) heaters is relatively low as they depend on convection to warm you and the surrounding area. Due to this reason, these heaters only work well for people seated very close to them and much of the energy disperses without reaching those sitting further away. These devices also bear greater safety concerns and generate combustion odors. People sitting outside in a restaurant or café will be disturbed by having an LPG tank next to them.
UFO heaters are produced per the IP (Ingress Protection) Safety Classification code. All electrical components are insulated against water, and the anodized surface, aluminum reflector, and stainless steel interior parts are highly corrosion resistant. Therefore, you can safely use outdoor-approved heaters even if it rains (please note that remote controlled models are not intended for outdoor use).
